TM is also very good. What do you want to test as some test kits are not as accurate as others w.r.t. certain parameters.

Elos, Salifert, Tropic Marin, Seachem - those are all decent kits.

The Elos KH test is crap as the colour change is difficuilt to distinguish. Otherwise I like their tests and are good value for money.

toppdagg why try the LFS we have plenty of sponsors that will ship to you. And most of them carry the brands mentioned except for the Salifert

I noticed it's a bit light in colour, but I can see it quite clearly under the right light conditions.

I use the tetra test kits, very cheap, cheaper than most brands on the market and no problems...

...Hi there...it was a big discusion about the tests and brands, and we find that some good reputated test are not as good as thay say...i played around with two different test to see what thay will show...the two test TM and very popular in Europe Salifert...Salifert it's the test im using...i started with Ca,salifert 400,TM 440,Mg two of the test show 1400,the worst is KH...salifert 11,TM 8 (here i belive more the TM)...so i will still use a salifert but knowing that what it shows i must make a little operation and KH what it shows must be minus three ppm...salifert NO3 its quit all right and it's showing the right or allmost right quantity of nitrat...PO4 its waist of money, there are not cheap test for phosphates, only Merc will do this job,but even Merc can be wrong, the best for PO4 will be for example Hanna electronic tester...so with the tests its not so easy and we cant trust them...the funnyiest thing i ever seen the water send to a different labolatories gives also a different result...so seems that nothing it's sure with our tests...

Just stay away from red sea, there is a reason it's cheap.
