    Hi All,

I got a 20cm convict blenny and Midas blenny, tamato clown and shrimps(2) . I'm busy setting up a new tank and I need some time to cycle the water and get it going (I am butting excisting mature water in and I will add the boyu water as well) and The tank boyu is to small to look after every one.

Is there any one that can help me to keep them just for 3 weeks in Cape Town please.
My sold tank will be collected in two weeks time.

I will collect it from you as soon as I can. Water must be good for them. :(

Sorry Martin I would love to help but just dont have space at the mo due too the shop changes I am implementing (check your e-mail), Why not look at getting a kiddies pool to put them in for a few weeks ?

Or use the sump you got with the tank as a temporary holding facility, let the DT cycle, once all params are cool move the fish and install the sump ...

I have done it before with success

Hi Clown. You are welcome to come and leave them with me. I am sure that they should be OK in my one bottom sump tank - even though the water level is relatively low in there. My tank water is more than healthy. We can arrange that you come over this coming weekend (either Friday evening or Saturday afternoon).

    Cheers mate.

Martin dont use old water, there is no such thing as mature water only old depleated water the good stuff is in the rocks and substrate.

I am picking up 4 purple tangs tonight and then will have them in QT as soon as they are out you are welcome to put your fish into my QT tanks for three weeks can put your convict blennie in the display with mine they will enojy the company and are easy to catch so no worries but the others QT tanks will be best

Hi Clown - the water level is about 10cm deep. It SHOULD be fine, as I kept about 4 fish in there for 2 weeks, when my tank broke.....

Yes - we can split the fish up.... you will see my sump system.

I should be home Saturday afternoon and Friday evening. Not sure about Sunday.

I will PM my address to you.
