Hey thete guys
I have just finished my controler that controls my heaters, chiller, fans, and other outputs for my lights and dosers or feeders. :)

It has alarm functions for high and low temperatures and can be set how i prefer things to work.

Here is a pic of the display for those who are interested.

i have had it on my system for a few days now with no problems.

Snazzy, wanna tell us how you did something so impressive

Yes i built it myself, with the program on the pic ic that i got from another guy in germany. he was kind enough to share it.

i had to build a programer to program the chip, to build the controler, to control my tank.
EESH thats a bit of a run around to get something done.

but i can now program many more in future. this is sort of a prototype, i wana still build it into a nice compact box and make it nice and neat.

I am also working on a way that i can put all the relays in a multi adaptor so its just a case of pluging things in to it and voala. at the moment its all wires and relays underneath.

I could help anyone who wants to build one for themselves or want one built.

Here is the inside

I try, the wiring is a bit of a mess still.

That is really cool.Would love to have one when you ready to sell...

Awesome Splatacat - that's some serious DIY !!

Is it all centered around a heat probe ?

Really neat. I like. I like.
How much did it cost to build or a better question is, how much are you gonna sell them for..:)

really nice!! one your dosing and feeding are you making use of a timed on/off ? Or did you find a way to control the dosing by volume?

Yes it is, i am using a thermistor to detect the temperature. it can be calibrated to be very accurate and has a resolution of 0.1 Deg C

The dosing is done on general timing chanels so its on a timed cycle.

Basicaly the controller has a heating chanel
2 cooling chanels
two lighting channels, one with lights kill on over temperature alarm
two timer channels with optional switch inputs for auto level etc.
minimum and maximum temperature recorder, with data logger
alarm telephone dialler output
battery backup
system tools

As for Price, i have not yet worked it out.

Chris, i need to visit you and you can show me how to make one.
