Looks good:thumbup:, How long has it been running?
Since August, but as I explained it needs major upgrades.

I have bought 2 x Seio M1500 powerheads which I will install this weekend. I have ordered 4 x 10000k lights to install (as advised by Kanga). I am about to install a sump wirth a new protein skimmer.

Looking very nice. The last photo is majano, unfortunately you have to get rid of it

Welcome to the forum Ted, tank looks good, I'm sure it will be even better with the upgrades you have planned. Nice. :)

What fish have you got in there?

What is Majano - sounds like an evil cousin of Aptaisia
Basically yes, it's a type of pest anemone that can spread in an aquarium and sting/kill/irritate other corals. Although they do look very pretty.

Hi Ted - Welcome to MASA! Your tank is looking really good. Are you going to change your substrate too? It is a little bit course (it seems like, according to the pics), and could harbour detritus, causing a lot of crap nitrate/phosphate issues in the future....

I also love you aquascaping!

Hi Ted nice looking tank. The upgrades all sound good and moving in the right direction. What skimmer are you getting?

Hi Guys,

Sorry it took so long to reply.

Viper357 - I have the following fish:-

1 x Bi-color Angel
1 x Scopus Brown Tang
1 x Yellow Tang
1 x Faerie Wrasse
1 x Pyjama Cardinal
1 x Blue Velvet Damsel
1 x Yelow Tail Damsel
1 x Bi-color Chromis

lIghty - I am going to install a Hang-on Overflow

jacquesb - about 40% of the coral in my tank is very coarse crushed coral which I have today started replacing (+/- 20% of the coarse) with +/- 3mm crushed coral

Alan - I am getting a PS2 protien skimmer

Wee-man - I feed my sun coral every 3rd day

Ted

Hi Ted - just another thing I have noticed (had another look at your pics). Did you remove the background from the tank yet? If not, perhaps a good idea to do so. Think of adding a single color acrylic, or perhaps even painting the background (not now while you have life-stock in the tank, though).
Another possible suggestion - use the material which the people use for window tinting - looks awesome on the back of a tank...

How often do you feed your sun-coral? I see it has some receding tissue at the bottom of the pic - is this getting worse or staying the same? What do you feed your sun-coral with?
