    Hi All

long time no speak and no forums some times it's easier to get on with things and not have to worry about what everyone else says or thinks.

Back to the new tank build, I am moving but not moving my current cube which is just to much of a pain to move and don't want my fish and corals to have suffer any more then they have to.

My New House has a nice closed in patio which is where the tank is going to live. I am going to do a very similar setup to adee and Bob.

I want to try make my system as maintenance free as possible, so that when I am away for the weekend I don't have to worry about dosing and and and.

The idea is to use natural elements such a algae scrubbers, cheato. I also will be using ozone which I have been using for more then 2 years & carbon & Bio Pellets.

I have all the other standard equipment Calcium reactor, skimmer.

I also want to use a RO unit direct into my tank and not have a holding tank for RO water this might be tricky but will use a timer to make sure it does not over do the water amount.

Now the wait starts by the end of August the move and new tank will be setup.

Pictures will only happen once the tank is running for a few month just don't want all the comments until it's stable.

Awesome dude. Will ozone work with bio pellets? I always read that ozone doesnt work with carbon dosing

I use Ozone to keep the water clear takes the yellow out the water for me - Bio Pellets are working and it does take some time to get going. I also use Active Carbon to keep the water clean

Next is to box the area where the tank will live, my current tank is in that area and it's getting some nice natural light but still needs my 400W metal halide for now

This is a very nice room to use with lots of space.

It's probably quite a cold room in winter though? Luckily with the amount of lighting that you will be getting for free you can subsidize the heating costs!

the last few day's were really cold I am running 4 x 300 watt heaters and my temp will drop from 26 to 25 over night - the new bigger tank will need more heaters but that will be okay like you said saving on light will be worth it.

we are planning of putting a door across the 5meter opening but that might take a month or 2 to happen
