    Hi All

Please see up photos of some of the inhabitants and growth in the tank. Please assist in identifying some of the growth. Much appreciated.

for the aipitasia, take the rock out, and inject the shaft with vodka, try not to get the vodka anywhere else, the aipitasia turns into a ball of goo, but is dead. Let it fall out the rock when it is dead

    Hi Gman and Magman

So if I understand correctly I remove my live rock and place in a quarantine tank/bucket and inject the individual stems with vodka. Is there any other treatment or alternatives ?

go for it, just don't use more than 1 or 2ml of vodka at a time, most of the time as the needle gets near the aipitasia, it will sulk away, so best bet is to mark where the aipitasia is before you disturb the rock. If the aipitasia sulks, then just carefully squirt the vodka on the hole where the base was, and check the corpse become goo:thumbup:
