    Good morning gents and ladies....

I come to you with a heavy heart to report that this morning all my electricity tripped on the main electric board in my flat. I eventually tracked the fault to my marine tank which from what I can see has sprung a slow leak. It appears as if the leak is coming from the bottom of the tank which is not good news :(

I also need to add that I am currently unemployed and do not have large amounts of money available :whistling:

    Any suggestions?

    You need to investigate.
More tank likly is a crack on the base or silicone, noting a bit of silicone and some glass cant fix.
what is your tank size again?
I have a spare std 3ft if you need a holding tank in the mean time if need be.

If you can pinpoint where the leak is and if it's just the silicone that come apart, a quick temp fix that you can use is Alcolin Aquamend from most hardwares. Good luck and keep us posted.

Try using aquamend, you can get it from builders warehouse. It can be used as a interim fix till u get the tank sorted. It is like pratley putty, hardens under water

    Ok I found the problem.

Loose internal pump to my gutter filter came loose and was pushing water upwards

I apologise for the noob moment but I really did panic. Now to clean the mess before my Wife gets home :whistling:

Again thanks to those who posted and again apology for "shoting wolf" :(
