i have recently obtained a tank and decided to revamp the tank be resealing it, incorporating a lid as well as braces all around. the tank is 500 x 400 x 900 and the problem i am concerned about is that the tank is made from 6mm glass. below are some pictures that show the bracing work but i am still worried that the tank could burst 2 months down the line. is this possible? i have also filled it with water for a week and everything seems to be fine but I'm just concerned that the glass could give way some time. please i would greatly appreciate any advise and if its worth keeping the tank.

i have a 1200x450x450 made in 6mm glass, but i added bracing to the top as well
then it should be fine, but from the pic it doesnt look 900mm high, is it?
then maybe i would rethink it

I can't see what bracing you have, but Euro-bracing on top should do imo. I am not expert ,so let the DIY guys comment.
