    Does it rapidly change colors from dark to light when startled? ... should be a pencil surgeon .....

    Looks like it, not sure though, are you sure?

    Im not sure, I took the pic at a lfs... so I doubt..

    You do get them in the local rockpools.
    Not as common as the Nigrofuscus, Dussumeri and Striatus Bristletooth tangs. Another visitor is the Tenenti, again not common like the previous three mentioned.
    They all look the same when very small, you have to check them out quite closely to see the differences.
