Tang ID please---Video + pics

    Saw this baby tang for sale, not a clue what it is nor can I find anything on the net.

    Assuming that it is some kind of juvi though.

    That's A. tennenti. I've got one that I caught here last season. Really nice fish...starts ugly but gets better and better looking as it grows. Peaceful as surgeons go.

    agreed, the ONE (of the two tangs in there) is a tennenti but thats not the fish thats most photographed or appears in the video:p

    those pics are very blury and as a rapid stab at an ID without realy looking into it i would say that might be a juvi Olive tang or a lavender tang.

    The one in the vid (the small one) is tennenti. They're yellowish when small (and our local ones keep the yellow on their tails as adults). They're easy to spot because they've got a blue ring around their tail spine and a white border on the tail.
