Hi guys I have a serious problem my tang was eating fine since yesterday morning last night did not eat. Today looks very bad the skin is flaking / peeling . Unfortunately I did not have a quarantine tank running so I put some tank water with live rock in a small tank with a air stone. I Put my tank inside about 20 minutes ago .. anyone have some experience with this disease .. please help asap ... any other help will be appreciated .

Looks like advanced Brooklynella. Do a 5 minute freshwater dip (match pH with sodium bicarbonate and match temperature). Chances still not that great though...the disease kills fast I'm afraid.

if Brooklynella, it is contagious. And could spread to other fish.

Hmmm, think that blenny might have brought the disease into your tank... That blenny must have been in bad shape allready to die few min later when added to the tank...

    Sorry for you losses
