    Hi guys/gals

I am in the process of planning my new tank and I am wondering if I would be able to keep/grow sps corals with 6x 80w T5 globes(Giesemann) 3 of the globes will be actinic+ and the other 3 will be aquablue+(white) ,the tank is only 500mm high will this also bring out the color of the sps and will they grow?
    Regards
    Ruan

My sps are doing amazing under t5's.

    I've got 8 globes on a 1000x600x450 tank.

    3 x Aquablue+
    1 x aquapink
    3 x actinic+
    1 x pure actinic.

If not, what is then the use of T5's in the hobby?
    For sure you can!

    You can grow sps under 1 x 80W t5. I had success under 1 x 54W.
