    Hey Guys,

Wanting to start up my 3 Foot aquarium, and was wondering if 4x 39w T5s would be sufficient lighting for keeping LPS corals?

    Welcome
definatley.. my advice would be to get good quality bulbs such as guiesseman kz or ati if budget allows. I personally prefer more blue than white.. but most lps are hardy once settled and will do perfectly under T5. What is the depth of your system?

    Thanks Leslie!

    Its a standard 3foot, so 30cm.

I prefer a "white look" for the lighting, rather than blue. What combination of globes should I go for?

Also, what are good LPS species to start with?
I used to keep anemones and had a Bubble Coral a few years back

What type of flow would I need?
