First you have to ask what do you want, do you want color or growth. Do you like blue or more the white spectrum?

Bud a lot more information is required before lighting requirements can be recommended. We need the tank foot print. The species of life to be kept. The depth of the tank etc etc. There is so much to consider, and recommendations for one type of system are not necessary good for another. Please elaborate a little more.

You should be able to keep most corals under 6 T5's. For growth and colour you should have some on the white spectrum and some on the blue. The tank should have a blueish tint then. Geisman is always the best with globe that almost double in output over others, if you have the money then try to invest in them. I would sugest for lighting(going from back of tank to front:

    1 x actinic
    1 x 14000K
    1 x 10000K
    1 x 14000K
    1 x 10000K
    1 x aqua blue

This should give the overall blue colour and also some nice growth. Hope it helps

I just think that at the moment the globes are too blue, you will get great colour but not that much growth. Just my 2c

    OK

My 1800mm softy tank runs with 8 39w aquablue +, (4 each side) that are on one timer and two 80w's. A aquablue+ and a Actinic+ on another timer. when all the lights are on the tank looks a lot less colorful than when just the two 80w are on.

If you want to "POP" the Zoos colour, then just switch the Actinic pure and Actinic + on. If to blue then switch on one Aquablue+
Note: Actinic pure tubes are short life tubes and give off best colouration when new.

With regards to the Aquapink? personally i feel it best left to systems that have many tubes and corals very high in the tank. But they do bring out that little extra colour.

IMO 2 Aquablue+ and 2 Actinic+ should be the stock tubes.

I installed 4 aqua blue, 1 actinic+ and 1 pure actinic. The middays are way too yellow for my liking.

Seeing very good growth on sps and softies
