T5 ighting questions

    If i where to run 6 t5s.
    1)would i run it off one ballest or multiple. just thinking of saving cash.

    2) would 6x 24 watts fit in a tank thats 800x350mm

    Yes, depending on reflectors used. I would actually go for the one up

    For 6 T5's you will need 3 dual ballasts, each ballast will run 2 tubes.

    if your dual ballast packs up does that affect both bulbs? my lights didn't work when I only connected one T5 to my ballast

    Yes it will, it is designed to run both the tubes simultaneously. if you get single ballasts it will only affect the one tube connected to it.;)

    The other thing is, some ballasts do require both tubes to be connected to work. Just make sure of this as well before you think its broken. :razz:
