    hi boys and girls

i wanted to ask a potentially stupid question.

i have a T5 unit with 8x54w globes and individual reflectors thanks to a fellow reefer  @dallasg.

i wanted to know if there is any specific arrangement / or the globes should be in from front to back of the DT or is it pretty much a personal thing?

    all geisemann

    1 x Aqua Pink
    1 x Midday
    1 x pure actinic
    3 x aqua blue plus
    2 x actinic +

    thanks

Spread the aquablues across the layout. Rest honestly makes no difference

only diff it makes is to you the reefer, you do prefer to have pure actinic first and pink in the middle

ok so the lighting unit was tested last night and let me just say, i think carlosF and myself are a bit
    blind today.

only issue now is : my Dt is 1.5m long
the lighting unit is just short of that

    1. do you guys have any idea how i can overcome this ( i had some pieces of super wood cut to make a "base" for the unit to rest on. so i will put the wood on the bracing of the DT as there is a small canopy/trim/ cabinet that gets placed around the rim of the tank
    2. what clearance do i need from water level
    3. how the F are you suppose to work while the light hangs so low, trying to work out something where i can lift the unit when ( and only when) i have to have my hands in the tank.
    4. what colour globes would you guys advise as im not to sure... ( all blue, mixed etc ?? )

    thanks
