T5 ballasts

    Im looking for any 54w T5 ballasts and 24w. Can be new or used. Im from Klerksdorp

    Close thread mod, came right bought 36w and 56 w elecrtonic ballasts at R130 brand new. That dual ballsast not single.

    36 and 56 watt does not sound right. They are normally 39w and 54w.

    Lappies, go to your electrical parts supplier and ask for an Osram 54w dual T5 ballast or a Tridonic 54 dual T5 ballast. Make sure that they supply you with a T5 ballast and not T8 (The wattages are diffrent)

    Thats right 36 and 58 w. They electronic ballasts

    I'm afraid they've sold you T8 ballasts. Just check on the units them self, they should indicate T5 or T8.

    All t5 ballasts are electronic and all t8 balasts are electronic to. The only diference in the power rating. A magnetic balasts can be used to to run a t5
