    Are those LED lights special?
Or are they just really bright LEDs?

    Does anyone know?

LED lights used for marines are high powered LED's. Usually 3w and up.
There is also only a few brand names used that produce enough light like Cree and Rebel.

Is that 9w per led or it the fitting 9w in total? There is more to it that simply wattage, like par, K rating etc. Can you give us more info on the osram led?

I don't think a 9w single LED has been released yet...

Cree has a 10W LED (MC-E) but it is not as efficient as the XP-G. I don't really see the need for anything more than 3W led's. They are already bleaching corals if you are not careful.

The 6000K would be pretty yellow for a reef tank.

The 60 degree angle would be good.

You would have to investigate the LED itself for more information.
    I don't know the seoul led's.

That looks realy neat. how much do they cost?

What coral do you want to grow with it and in what setup? If you can get it @ 6000k it could work, it would give off a warm colour, no blue in that light.....

lets see what the experts say...
