All in order, so go and catch yours. Hope you get it for THAT price! But then again, I won't hold my breath.
You not allowed to sell fish you catch locally. That is what he means.

Convict tangs are also local, can catch them as juveniles in our rock pools in Northern Natal. They are sometimes imported especially from Kenia shipments. Not saying that this one was locally caught. Shops in Gauteng do have them at times. But yeah, R1000 put this one in the price range of a nice size yellow tang.

Hermits goes from R50 to R80 in the shops. Sometimes a bit more. As it is not a local hermit, it will not be a freebie.

The clowns at 2500 are a bit steep. Unless they are some A grade designer clowns. If yes, then they need better pictures as justification for their price. If normal ocealaris clowns, then divide their price by 10.

Suggest checking out some other for sale threads to get a better understanding of "secondhand" livestock prices. The guys on here wants everything basically for free and will always offer less than asked. But that is no reason for the seller to loose out. The seller is still entitled to a fair price on his tank mates.

Hardware goes for about 50% or even less than their new price. Depending on what it is and condition. Plus urgency of the sale. Again, if the seller did put things up as for sale with realistic prices, he does not have to accept ridiculously low offers.

I think around R200-R300 for a convict, maybe slightly less, is probably fair from what I can recall they cost in the lfs up here. And around R50 for a blue legged a hermit perhaps. I think those clowns are Clarkii clowns, probably R1000 for the pair is sort of fair as they are breeding, but small Clarkii clowns are R150 each at the LFS. Damsels look like Chrysiptera parasema, they are R80-R100 at the lfs currently, I think Aquaria had for R85. Just trying to help.
