    Heya

So this is a little bit about my system, it's not complete yet.

Display is 2400L x 800W x 700H. There is an external overflow on each side of the tank, so nothing is visible within the display.
Sump is 100L x 55W x 45H. The most part of this is going to be used to fatten up new fish before they go into the display. I like large tangs and angels, so it's hopefully going to help by letting them aclimatise first in the sump.
There is also a tank which is around 120L x 60W x 50H which is used for top up water and salt water preparation.

    Filtration/Supplementation is done with:
    (1) Aqua-medic T5000 twin skimmer
    (2) Aqua-medic Nitratereducter 5000
    (3) Aqua-medic Calcium reactor 5000
    (4) Reef Octopus kalk stirrer
    (5) Reef Octopus carbon reactor with Hydro Carbon
    (6) Reef Octopus phosphate reactor (not running yet, I'm still deciding on what media to use)
    (7) Aqua-medic 55W UV
    (8) Haleia 1000 Chiller

Lighting is 4x 250W MH in Lumerarc style reflectors with 10K bulbs.

There is an MD55 feeding the skimmer, chiller and uv. One MD70 runs the return and another runs the closed loop. There are 2x Tunze 6201 inside the display as well.

Everything is controlled by a Profilux Plus II EX.

Water purification is done by The Waterboy, reefmaster plus.

That's about it. I hope this satisfies all your curiosities :)

    Sounds good man.
Do you think your sump will handle the water volume when the power trips?

The sump does just fine, I test this theory twice a day when I feed my fish because the Profilux turns all my pumps off for me.

    My bad - display is 240L x 80W x 70H. I wish it had an extra 0 after each number ;)

i must confess i got far more excited about the first set of display tank sizes. I was going to propose a law that anyone with a tank over 2000length HAS to post pics:) welcome to masa hope you have lots of fun here:)

ps your fish shots are great and I see a few monster clams in the background and a few SPS sticks, seeing as you like fat tangs and big angels do you not stress about corall peckers (i am hoping i am NOT alone in not really caring about SPS getting nibbled but i think i might be!)

Thanks for invite Crispin, but I won't be able to make it.

Yip, I guess there are always compromises to make. I like triggers as well :) As the tank progresses I'll decide whether the fish or the coral get kicked out.

Not all of the shots are from my current tank, but they are all from my camera so there aren't any problems using them for masa.

I'll post a full tank pic this weekend sometime during that awkard time between sobriety and my next drink
