    Hi,

    Im planning to use Sylvania Aquastar and Coralstar T5's

    Has anyone any experience with these tubes?

    yip. They are cheap (especially if bought directly from the wholesaler) and they do a fine job in a fish only or tank with corals which require not as intense lighting. Put them in decent reflectors and you are good to go.

    I use them and growth on softies and lps are good
    also a good colour cobination
