There is no alphas in the country because they are expensive and dont sell often due to the cost. Not everyone has R25K for an alpha 300. So why would the importer stock these if he sells 1 a year. Does not make business sense. If you willing to give out that cash i'm sure they will bring one is especially for you. So pay a deposit over to TSR and you can get one.

spot on @mariusmeyer, expensive items are special orders, as much as we want to keep loads of stock it does not make make sense to tie up money up in stock that only sells 16 months later.

We just sold a 10000L mega skimmer to one of the national aquariums and it was a special order, they paid upfront and they are waiting for it to arrive.

So sure if you are a serious buyer getting it in should be no issue at all. It will just arrive in the next shipment from TSR :)

The vertex alpha 300 was not so expensive...
I understand the cost factor of the 300...
But atleast the 200 and 170 were affordable with great pumps on them and im sure alot of people would buy the alpha 170 and 200...

Not at the latest prices. Check with TSR about the prices but be prepared for a shock.
