They are awesome cheap pumps. Just be carefull when cleaning them and taking them appart because the shaft is very brittle. They have a nice random dispersed flow as well.

They are awesome pumps, very cheap so when they do give problems and pack up they do not cost much to replace...
Like Maniac said just becareful of the shaft when cleaning when you take them apart...

Mine started making a noise once, but I just turned it off and then on and everything was sorted.

Mine needs to be kick started, but is still great value for money imo. Very low power consumption.

Thats weird. Guess the magnets aren't aligned correctly. Although my SEIO pumps which cost three time more than my sunsun need to be turned on and off like a million times before they actually start up.

It's a vibration pump, so no magnets. Mine pumps lank well, and is noisy at times. But just needs to be moved around a bit then fine hey.

Nice bang for your buck. I've got two of the 500lph with no noise and problems.

I have 1 X 6000 lph and 2 X 3000 lph hooked up to an aquamedic wavemaker. I get a very nice effect.

I have 2x 5000 lph in my tank and have no noise issues :)

Just if you can try and get the ones with the magnet fitting and not the suction cups (like I have) as mine tend to slide down the glass from time to time.

Thats where I think SunSun are being clever. First sell the ones with suction cups at a price that so low you cant say no. What 3000lph pump can you get for R130-00 ? Now they sell magnetic mounts , I bet people will buy them to replace suction cup ones . Add that up and you paid 80% the price of a quality pump. Having said that I will still buy sunsun.

The main resaon I like them , price aside , is the wide flow they produce.
