Sump

    Hi all,

    As you can see im still a newbie and need some advice.

    Im planning on building a 600 x 600 cube. I currently have a boyu and im pretty much clueless when it comes to sumps.

    I need some helpwith the best sump design that would work for that cube please. All suggestions welcome. :)

    Keep it as simple as possible. 3 chambers, first of inlet from display, second for dsb or reactors and third for return. Make you life easier and incorporate an RO chamber for auto top ups.

    keep it even simpler, 2 chambers, skimmer and everything in chamber 1, return in second, look at a 80-20 split, also maybe add a RO top up chamber in as well

    If i only use 2 chambers, i'll only have space for the skimmer and return pump? Right?

    skimmer chamber. return pump chamber and RO resiviour
    simple simple... keep sump in a condition that it too can be cleaned periodically from detritus settlement...

    Thanx Leslie. So you would agree with the above mentioned pic? Just another chamer in the middle for ORCA media etc?
