Heyo reefers,

I have had my DSB/refuge tank going for about 2 months now, and I am wanting to plant some macroalgae in it... My DSB has a 5cm bottom layer of silica sand, with about a 6-8cm layer of Caribsea Mineral Mud and fine aragonite, and a top 3-4cm layer of fine aragonite.

Does anyone know of any local (KZN) species that would grow well in my DSB/fuge?

Also, if anyone has some Caulerpa I'm looking for some.....

Cool,
Brent

Most of the better local shallow water/rockpool species need a ton of light. I've only recently managed to grow some species after getting LEDs. They weren't surviving under T5. If you can get species from 10m+ then you've got a lot of options.

I've got some Caulerpa for you.
