suhayl fish not eating

    My suhayl fish not eating any kind of food bellets or Crusts but eat a Little of algae on the rocks what can i do?

    What type fish is that a reef fish, do you have a pik so see.

    Try squashed frozen peas, with the skins removed, lettuce, nori, sea urchins, mussels etc.

    its the seaweed they use in sushi. you buy it as dried sheets from the LFS, though some retail sotres sell it as well.

    You can buy nori from any local grocery store: ie. Checkers, Pick-n-Pay, Woolworths. The other day I got some from the local chinese supermarket - R20 for 10 sheets.... :)

    Wringo, Surgeons and Tangs are grazers and prefer foods that contain not so much meat, but after they have settled they tend to eat almost everything. Look for sea veggies or even a frozen Marine Mix.

    Oh yeah, shot Frans. :p Not forgetting the Bananas (im serious) , it works well.
    Cut a small piece and chuck it into the tank.
