Substrate river sand?

    How's it hennie?thanks again for those frog babies they are doing great.
    Somebody told me that you recommended using river sand as a substrate could i use this as a dsb medium ?
    And also are you refering to the normal coarse river sand available at the hardware stores or the sand actually collected from the river itself?

    salt water,

    yeah apparently saltwater frogs are from norway.....they're endemic to that icy place so you gotta have a really good chiller for them to keep temp to -10 degrees celcuis.:p

    oh so they dont swim or anything. you just keep them like that untill a french dinner is needed and defrost the legs section?

    Yes, river sand makes an excellent substrate for a marine tank. It is important to use the correct particle size, though (as with ANY type of substrate, be it aragonite, real sea sand, or river sand).
