Will post some more pics when the water clears.

This looks realy realy nice, It going to be awsome when it is matured!
A question, is this going to be a SPS tank?

Good idea with using pipes to add flow, sometimes i wonder why i am using seios, being too visible and all, when i build my next tank i will do something similiar:thumbup:
looks good though, was pretty quick to add fish though. Was it cycling before you put fish in?

Nice Submariner! Please explain a little bit about your closed loop

Hi Warr7202

I only have 2 clams in my tank

I had 2 die in my temp tank and sold the others.

Will be getting new clams once the tank settles in.

Wow Sub, that's a nice setup. I like a closed loop system, then you can keep an anemonie without making cetchup :p

If I may ask, how much does those Iwaki md70 pumps cost?

Pics worth a thousand words. Well thought out and put together. Thanks for posting. I like the idea of having the tank as the hub of the house.

Are the Iwaki pumps silent enough to have running in the house.

Look very nice Submariner, just 2 Qs

1. is that stand going to be stong enough, with someone walking around on it?

2. The closed loop system, it returns via 2 ports either side per pump, you only have a valve shutting off on the higher port, if you remove the pump, whats going to stop the water running back through the lower ports and draining the tank?

Hi lIghty

The stand was over engineered to withstand +-4 and the walkway should withstand about 450 Kg.

I have blanking plugs that cover the holes on the tank side to allow maintenance or removal of the closed loop pumps.
