    Hey.
I've been cycling my tank for 3 weeks now. I'm new to Marine Tanks so I'm thinkin I need help..lol.
I added a clown 2 days ago.(WILD). It seems to not be eating. It came out of hidin last night and now only seems to be using one fin....

Any ideas on what the cause might be?

    Thanx

Also being a wild fish, it could have a disease or parasite

    he is now dead :(

I think it came with a disease from the pet-shop, cause the other one I have, from R&R is doing great.. Very territorial.

    Thanks for concern

Sorry to hear that. I got 4 black and white ocellaris from Lanzo, which came from Proaqautix. 1 of them stopped eating and finaly died. Whatever was wrong with this fish, there is nobody to blame for. Sometimes the fish has got a weaker imune system than others that came from the same supplier or shipment. The LFS can only make sure that his livestock looks good and eats good. He can not do a medical check up front.
So sometimes you buy a fish with an internal worm infection. He will eat like a pig, but still getting thin very quick and die at the end. Or you bought a healthy fish which dies out of the blue for no visible reason. Might have been caught with cyanide. How knows, not even the LFS will know.

That all is part of the life cycle. Sad, but this happens. You will experience this more often. No matter what.
