I have read from another thread that you have a stingray. If so,do you still have it,can you please forward me full details on the fish, along with the price. My 1.8 is currently empty, full sand substrate, and well mature.

IMO tank toooooo small to keep any ray species. You need at least 6sqr meters floor area, and a filtration system capable of extracting the necessary nutrient waste they produce.

I am sure David will advise the same. They are a specialist fish and most do not make it in aquaria. However, they make spectacular display. Consider the fish, then your commitment and skills before purchasing the species. IMO for advanced Aquarius's with a lot of dedication and " funds" to feed. There diet can be very demanding on the budget.

Can't say anything for your experience as I DON'T KNOW YOU or even what filtration you have, but 1.8 metre tank wont be big enough for a sting ray bud.:(
