So after having a catastrophe with a Boyu 550 sans chiller, I upgraded by buying @Raimond RS250 along with a chiller. Photos aren't the greatest but gives you an idea of where I am

did all of that came out of the TL550? Or did you get some rock and live stock with the RSM?

I have added a lot. Some of the rock and livestock did come from the TL550 but I have added about 15kg of live rock and a lot of corals. Work in progress I still aim to add some more.

If you refering to the purple fish I believe it is called a coral beauty angel. The other I have, the blue one is a juvenile Koran angel. From all accounts I will shortly have to find him another home if I want my corals to survive.

Your tank is looking really great! I love your stock:)
If I may make a suggestion, move the overflow grate so that the "bump" on the movable portion touches the waterline. It helps with surface skimming ;)

Thanks @tekkengal I have done this. Will let you know if there is improved skimming

The overflow grate was as stiff as hell it obviously has not been moved for many moons so will be interesting to see the difference. To be honest I was unaware the grate positioning was adjustable, the new level makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the tip, much appreciated :m106:

    Glad I could help!
Just note that when I say surface skimming I refer to keeping the surface of the water clean (i.e. no film develops on top to prevent light penetration).

Thanks @Raimund have really enjoyed your tank, a nice step up from the Boyu. Now starting to consider another upgrade to something similar to your awesome setup.

I had one before loved him but yes my corals took a nock
I'm thinking of the move over to @aquaria-S.A artificial coral. That way I can have colour and any fish I'd like to have.
    Koran being one of them.

@Christo the clowns I bought from a fellow reefer about 3 years ago and the inferno came from Rick of Secondwave fame.

Too awesome! Your tank has evolved beautifully from the initial pics to now!
What colour lights are you using?
