hi everyone

starting my new tank 2.5m(l) x .70m(w) x .70m(h) and will be a fish only tank. i do not want to place any live rock or corals in the tank. the tank will have only aragonite and artificial coral insert.

my question are:
1. how long would it be required to cycle such setup; and
2. what lights should i use as i want to eliminate algae growth as far as possible - thinking t20 blue colour?

your advice appreciated

You wont have to cycle as there are very little die off. if you use something like Stability I reckon you good to go withing a week or two. I know some people add fish from day 1 when using Stability but I wont do that.

Just make sure you wash the aragonite properly.

As for lights it all depend how much you want to spend. But I reckon blue and white bulbs will be enough.

where will the fish sleep?
Must have enough hiding places else they tend to start fighting for the prime sleeping spot.
