Slm Uncle Gambit I have 6 clowns in my 600 x 600 x 500 and they doing fine so I'm not sure how many you can get in there, I would say prob 10+ but you will have to buy them from the same batch as clowns are territorial and can be aggressive toward other clowns especially common vs Black.
Since you broke down your tank an anemone will need a mature tank and very stable pars but its also not a necessity.
Some LR and you should be good to go.

Good luck and hope the back is healing well:)

Not going to work. Once pairs form they will develop territories and will begin to fight to the death.

I bought six clowns initially all was good as i had 3 pairs. The one of them took a liking to one of the other pairs. he did not survive. i now have 2 pairs and one solo one. Each pair their own territory and the solo one hosts three different corals.

I wouldnt go 10 in your tank with those dimentions. I would rather go with a variety of gobies, they're small and dont grow fast.

More than a pair can be kept in larger tanks. Even with no liverock, they will pair up and fight.

im also thinking no rocks and corals will giv them no place to host. and iv seen tanks in hotels, offices and even @ aquarium wer dozens of clowns live together with no fighting .

Clowns dont need to host to be aggressive, the larger one will become dominant pair up and start bullying the smaller ones.
Office/hotel tanks arent the best tanks to gauge things on as you not their to observe the clowns on an ongoing basis and the company maintaining the tanks will remove any dead/damaged fish.

If you view the tank at the aquarium for a while, youll notice that quarrelling does happen. Because of the size of the tank and the sheer number of clowns, the targeted clowns do have space to swim away and the focus of the bullying isnt on one or two clowns as would be the case in a smaller tank.

So the way i see it is, if i have more clowns ther wont be single targets for bullying as ther will be to many to bully. or am i wrong.

Is ther anybody that tried this before, or hav experienced more than 30 or 40 clowns in a tank before.Cs evrybody that replies talks about 1 or 2 or pairs of clowns. im talking about maybe 30 clowns.
At this moment i got 8 in my tank with no rocks and coral, and ther is still loads of space to put more clowns in

Clowns are not naturally schooling fish, they pair off in the wild and defend their territory - they will do exactly the same in an aquarium. And yes, i have seen tanks with alot more than 30 clowns in then and they also paired off and fought with each other.
If you want alot of the same fish in one tank rather get something that schools, like goldies or apagons etc.
