    Hi to All!!!

    My name is Christo! Had a tank 2 years back! Normal 4 footer that I modified
    to fit Offer flows etc. Sold it!:( And now I cant Stop
    thinking of all the guys I sold! So I'm Going to start again!:)

    Well I will be going bigger this time! And the project will
    mostly be DIY

    Tank : 2500 x 850 x 750 ( 2500 x 1000 x 1000* Also considering these sizes )
    Sump : 1400 x 500 x 500
    2 Chamber calcium RX : DIY Already Complete
    Kalk Stirer : DIY Already Complete
    Phosban RX : DIY Already Complete
    A/Carbon RX : DIY Not Complete Waiting For Parts order
    Recurculating Coil DeNO3 : DIY Not Complete Waiting For Parts order
    2 X Recurculating Proteinskimers : DIY Not Complete Waiting For Parts order
    Zeo Plankton RX : This will be the only think I will be Buying
    Ligths : Thinking of going the T5 route, dont know much of them
    Will be going for about 18 1m tubes: 2 red
    4 purple
    6 blue
    6 white

    1 suggestion long wide tanks are nice ,but not too deep. Just makes working on easier and with a wide tank is better for rock work and display.

    What do you guys Think of my idea about the lights ! like I said don't know much
    about T5'S! I will arrange them Like this!

    White - White
    Blue - Blue
    Purple - Purple
    White - White
    Red - Red
    White - White
    Purple - Purple
    Blue - Blue
    White - White

    It seems My maths has let me Down

    White : 8 1m tubes
    Blue : 4 1m tubes
    Red : 2 1m tubes
    Purple : 4 1m tubes

    Are you talking about the fiji purple bulbs (KZ)? The correct method of setting up these bulbs are 2 whites to 1 puple.
    So try this out :
    1*Blue
    2*White
    1*purple...........
    Get the rhythm?

    Oh and i will defniatley go more width rather than height.You can create a more natural looking reef IMO :)

    If you are only going with T5's don't make the tank too deep.
