Starfish

    H is it legal to remove starfish from rock pools for a tank.
    i have a small tank 38 l jebo
    And would like a star fish or 2 in it
    live in P.E
    the rock pools around willows are full of the pentagon shaped starfish . What do they eat I would like to use them to control algae

    Cushion star fish, They fine to remove if you have a marine permit, I have a few, they not much of a algae muncher, well they do eat it, but at a pace slower than a snail :biggrin: but they cool to look at, however I would say take one maximum 2 as I had 4 in my tank and they reproduced and I now have 8....
