thanksAwsome man. How are you plannng on dealing with the heat?
What lighting do you currently have on the tank? If it is T5's. Leave it that way. Your SPS will thrive under T5's.thanks
I was wondering about that,,, I would like a 150W MH as I can use it when I upgrade (finally) to my 80x80x60cm tank (with aditional 4x39W T5's)...
maybe i should look for a 70W rx7 double ended MH instead...

Hi I'm not using T5's this is a pic of my 90l JBJ Nano Cube with the standard PL 2x 36W 10000K/blue that came with the Nano.
I intend to light up my new tank 80x80xh60cm with:
1x 150W 14000K MH (BLV?)
4x Fiji Purple (Blue/red spectrum) T5 24W (sorry not 39W)
Oh sorry, I thought it was on the 90l.Hi I'm not using T5's this is a pic of my 90l JBJ Nano Cube with the standard PL 2x 36W 10000K/blue that came with the Nano.

On the 800*800*600 I would say 1 * 250W SE Mh and then your T5's.
Personally I wouldnt go for 4 fiji purple. The ratio is 2 whites, 1 fiji purple and then go for an actinic.

+- 20cm above the water level is ideal. This will prevent water from splashing onto it aswell as a larger light distribution. How high can you mount the Halides?
