    Hi everyone,

I purchased a zoanthid frag a while back and it had a hard skeleton growing on the plug. The skeleton is covered with a brownish flesh with very small polyps The only thing I could find online was that looks similar was the Christmas tree worm. Recently this thing has been spreading like crazy. Pleasse see the attached picture

    Can anyone identify this?

    Thanks in advance

It does look like a type of Porites, I had something similar growing in my tank, just left it to do it's own thing. It didn't develop into anything spectacular, bit of a boring coral. :p
