    Hello all,

I recently bought an inferno bubble tip anemone that has speckled colouration. I have read somewhere on the net that the speckled appearance is due the anemone splitting. I would like to know if it will ever lose this colouration or is it stuck looking like this until the end of its days?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't think the speckled is from splitting. I've had a few anemones split and none of them developed the speckeling. Anemones and colour are weird, you'll prob just have to wait it out and see
I rather like the mottled colour.

    Thanks David!

I am sure that I read it somewhere that it was because of the split that causes the speckles, guess I was mistaken :m85:
