    What specimens can I expect to see and catch in August< bluff and Scottburg.

    Besides that I doubt ul get much unless you do a scuba. I did get a picture wrasse last week tho. maybe someone can back me up here but from august till late october we don't get many fish. Yes on the reefs you will see fish but bigger ones catching them is hard

    I saw some picture wrasses around the exposed rocks at Rocky Bay.

    Forgot, these are everywhere...
    Damsels...

    And flagtails

    Thanks to all the replies. Hopefully im lucky and bag me some goldies on limestone.
    I used to live in Durbs just cant remember the quality of fish in August.
    Hows the traveling of things like convicts etc.

    I see you guys are planning a trip. Would love to have joined. Ill post the pics of my haul...haha
    Sceptical about the quality tho. When i lived in durbs i often dived without taking a thing as i went for quality not what was about. We diving the a vast coastline on out trip tho.

    It's probably the absolute worst time of year, unfortunately. There are a few adult fish still around but hardly any juveniles. I was in the water for 3 hours this weekend and the only smallish fish I saw were wrasses.
