Hi masa members,
Okay where to start with my tank thread...
I got hooked with this hobby when i first saw some magnificent, coloured ricordea at the LFS,
since then mushrooms, ricordea and ears have always been my favorite
coral.
Definitely one of the most easiest corals to keep - hardy and indestructible.
I have chosen to go with the Aquaria 102L/120L tank,
thanks @Aquaria-SA Lawrence for letting me collect after hours.
The setup inside
- i used some rock and water from my existing 1.8m which we moved out the same day.
- the remainder of the rock came from my garage which was in RO water for about a week.
- some of it i crushed and used as a coarse substrate,
i have decided to use this instead of fine substrate as i will be fragging as often as the corals let me, so the frags will never be blown away.
- few of my existing corallimorpharia corals were added.
The plan for this tank,
is to cover every mm of rock and substrate with a variety of
mushrooms, ricordea and just one large ear.
no other corals will be added.
Here are a few pictures of the setup a day or so old, i will be doing one full tank pic a month and doing close up pictures with details of the corals as we go along.
