Tank as of this monday. Basically, about 30 Kg LR dumped in there, stirred the substrate up a bit so it was murky. Pics taken about an hour after the rock was put in...

Bought a Tropic Marin test kit over the weekend. I know the tank is cycling, but thought I would test for fun. Here are the results from monday:

SG- 1.023 (according to my hydrometer- I want to buy a refractometer when I have some spare cash)
Temp- 27
pH- 8.4
kH- 7
Nitrite- 0.02 ppm
Nitrate- 20 ppm
Ammonia 0.05 ppm

Very nice, going to be a cool system to watch.
