    beautiful pics as always waldo.

that bi colour is a lovely looking fish, i dont think ive ever seen one like it before. I assume it has the same characteristics as a normal one spot fox or a magnificant foxface?

love the mantis pics, are those shot with flash, or do you have a very wide app setting on that lense?

Yeah they are supposed to have the same behaviour. So far I see no difference between it and my previous one spot. They are much more expensive though. Paid $80 for it. One spots go for about $30.

The first two mantis pics are with macro flash, third picture is without flash.

great to hear, do you know its latin name by any chance (feeling a little lazy and knowing you theres a list of latin names on your pc somewhere:)) i'd like to have a look at getting one. I was set on the lo magnifica but that bi color does look awesum:)

Im not quite sure what setting you have your macro flash set at but just a warning that the light can hurt the mantises eyes, although i have a feeling it was you that told me that originally. I nearly got skinned alive by lanzo's mother from using a normal flash on a mantis before I knew....i still still live in fear of that woman!

From the FTS i see a lovely tube worm , just obscured by the sarcophyton. Chances of pics of the worm thing inside. Always wanted to see a good Pic of the worm head.

Or is it a coco worm ?

Waldo i have no idea of the wonderful pic. The "bits" in the middle of the "feathers" is that worm head?

If so, when you have some spare time on your hands, would love to see a series of feeding pics on plankton/food that it eats.
