Some kind of worm, is this worm good?

    This afternoon i cleaned my internal filters and this is what i found?
    Is this thing good or bad?

    Looks like the flesh eating often fatal, killer peanut worm to me:lol:

    Peanut worm - good guy if it is, it doesn't look like a nastie anyway

    That is a peanut worm. should not be a problem at all in your system (your tanks that is!).

    yip, wont try to put it in my system:lol:

    I took the bugger out and placed hip in a small plastic "koppie".
    What does this worm do?

    It's a free member of the clean up crew, get it back in quick - it only does good and won't hurt any healthy fish or coral

    depends on how much spare food there is, if you overfeed you get more, as they will breed according to conditions

    And if i turn off the ligts, i see this little stuff big and small running around in my ttank.
    Are these good or not?

    do they look like fleas? if so they are probably copepods - also good

    yep, very good for your system. Some fish eat them so they're always welcome.
