Softy

    Can any help me with an identification on this soft coral it came on a LR and has grown to 6cm it has hard "thorns" on it?

    Welcome @JamesHunter, can you perhaps take a pic of the full coral?
    Cant really see what the coral looks like.

    This is the best i can do the coral is unhappy as i moved it and it closed up, this branch is open

    Ok I have read up on the Scleronephthya family and to me this is not of that family?

    It's Stereonephthya. Very nice coral. Looks like an NPS, but it's actually photosynthetic.

    So Lord whats the common name "flower tree coral" ?
