Hey all long time no see...

Work has been keeping me busy so havnt had much or any time to chat online.
My tank has jsut been fishless for some time now.
I have an issue about a week ago i started noticing some holes out my Big pin & Kenya & pink tree.. they are large and today one of them have completely been torn part from the base. on close inspection , i see Co-pods goind mental and all over the place.

Are co-pods or whateva they are called eating my soft corals?

They are millions in my tank as there is nothing to eat them, all over my glass ..
Maybe they aint co-pods and somthing else. can some please post an image of one so i know i havnt got somthing else breeding like mad in my tank

    Thanks so much

    Regards
    Aj

The hundreds of species that all get referred to as pods. Rather post a pic of your so it can be id'ed.
I highly doubt pods would eat a leather, unless the leather is already dead. Check the holes and see if there isn't perhaps a worm living in it.

Most likely that the corals are dying due to lack of food since there is no fish n the tank. And now the copepods are just eating the dead tissue.

Can I come and relieve you of some pods?

    Are you feeding your tank?

in the background your caulerpa is growing. What is the water parameters?

I would tend to agree that with no fish you would have no food for those corals :(

Are you feeding them anything and if so what?

If that is not the problem have you seen any crabs in your tank sir :whistling:
