    Hey everyone!

So finally I have made the choice to start saving up for diving lessons. I would like to do them in Sodwana as I heard they were great and every now and then we go down there for the fun. I would like to know if someone knows of a great place to do the diving lessons, I'm looking to do the open water course but if you would suggest anything else then that would be great, I'm all ears:thumbup:. I'm really looking forward, hope from hearing from you guys soon!

    yep
the lodge is awesome to stay at
i was there about 1 month back
the dice centre is well run and boats are good
no problem if you wanna dive with any other concession , so , yes , i would dive through reefteach or the lodge
    both equally good
personally , i just like to use smaller concessions as like to support the underdogs
lodge is owned by large company worth zillions

    catch my drift ;)

Remember to get your permit from the post office. They won't let you dive in a MPA without it.

I wouldn't waste 2-3 days of a holiday sitting in a classroom doing a dive course. A lot of the course is classwork related and exams. Do your course while you're not on holiday and then do the open water qualifying dives while you're down in Sodwana.

It's part of the fun mouse:tt2:. Hahaha at least I then have an excuse to stay longer at Sodwana. Nemos Janitor do you have to get a permit when you go for the course? Don't they give it to you there?

Bud the permit is obtained from the post office. Costs About R85 for a year. I think you can also get one from the parks board. Not sure. But you have to have one to dive in a MPA.
