    Hello All

So it has begun. This is the start of my little tank. Im sure it won't be to long for an upgrade to take its place :)

So I have drilled a hole and put the sand in. The piping for the refugium is going in tonight and the water so that the exciting cycle can begin.
Nor very exciting at the moment but this is where I am at.
I will post more on monday once I have some live rock in the tank and looks a bit more like a "tank"

How/where did you drill a hole in this tank?

It is in the back right corner. Got a 20mm hole drilled and have put a +-30mm pipe up to create my cycle. It is being hidden by the top frame in the first pic. I did the flow pipe last night. Will post more pics soon.

So phase 2 took place yesterday afternoon and the water cycle began. I have not put the sump in yet. It is doing the cycle through the standard system that came with the tank. I also learnt the the one light unit is not working so I only have one light running at the moment. But I will get that sorted this week. The sump is being built tonight and that process will all start some time this week as well. Will also be putting my first bit of live rock in either tonight or tomorrow night. Oh and the best news is that there are no leaks where I have connected the overflow.

    Hi All

So phase 3 took place this weekend. Salt added and my first bit of LR and some plants. Lets hope in a few days I will start seeing some life moving around in my tank. The sump is still not in.

Thank you. Looking forward to adding more LR. Still looks a bit empty. I was hooked the day I bought the tank.
