All sorts going on at the moment with the weather, there is a ship in trouble off the North Coast here in the Ballito area and is threatining to run aground and the N2 is closed between Durban and JHB.

Hey Alan, we have front row seats to the show here in Sheffield. The tugboat that is babysitting it has this massive spotlight that was shining into our bedroom all night.

Why would the cold affect a ship?

Here's the ship, it's so close you can even see the anchor chain. The tug is on the right. Every now and then it comes closer and does a drive by, which I assume is to check it hasn't drifted closer to the shore.

Rough seas, it lost its anchoring waiting to go into the harbour.
