    Looks like a Stomatella snail.

    Google image search it and compare.

    @RiaanP, it looks more like a mussel shell.

    ok, that makes a bit more sense. The white thing is part of it.

    Bi-valve, mussels and clams are all included. With its fibrous filaments anchoring it. They are all filter feeders.

    Next time use another camera ;)

    I am a photographer but did not want to take out all my macro lenses etc. So you know the phone camera is the quickest....:blush:

    Filter feeder, leave it. It might move to another spot.

    Cool will leave it, it is just moving up and down the glass side for now. :thumbup:
