Snail id 6cms big

    Hi this chap has been with me for 6 months got him when he was small and he has grown large was always in my Nano then sump now refuge.

    The shells are very common in the tidal pools and hermits do use it. But by then it lost all the hair and the shell is smooth. It have 2 ridges, if you can call it that from the shell end to the opening. Thicker sections. The shell colour do differ a bit per individual.

    But yes, they are predatory.

    So my Hairy Triton whats he been eating in my refuge and Nano have a few small stars thats all in there

    could be feeding on worms. Or your micro bristle stars.

    hmm, yeah...
    Anyway, if he does not have a big impact, it is still something nice or different that others do not have.

    I had predatory snails in my sump area before. Interesting. But obviously only one at a time.
